What Does A Good Warranty Cover?

A good window warranty should cover more than just a piece of paper from the manufacturer. At Duncan’s, the most important part of a warranty is that there is one company standing behind the whole job - the product, the installation, and the service after the sale.

That means if something goes wrong, the homeowner is not stuck calling three different companies while everybody tries to blame someone else.

Duncan's No Finger Pointing Warranty

No-Finger-Pointing Warranty

Duncan’s believes in what they call a no-finger-pointing warranty. If there is a problem, you call Duncan’s. You do not get pushed off to the manufacturer. You do not get told to track down a subcontractor. You do not get trapped in the middle while different companies argue about who is responsible. Duncan’s handles the service, orders the parts if needed, and works through the process from start to finish.

Who Do You Call When Something Goes Wrong?

The issues that show up most often are usually glass-related, like seal failure or stress cracks, not dramatic product failures across the board. There are also situations that may fall outside a standard warranty, like accidental damage or water getting in from some other part of the house. Even then, the difference is that Duncan’s still wants the homeowner to call them first. Duncan's will help figure out what is going on and what the next step needs to be.

That is what makes a warranty useful in real life.

It is not just what sounds impressive in a brochure. It is whether somebody answers the phone, stands behind the work, and takes responsibility for helping the customer get it fixed.
